Latvia is a display typeface initiated by a trip to Riga, Latvia, where I went in October 2020. The design process was greatly inspired by the look of Riga’s suburb area, the typical pavement of the town, the numerous colourful and originally shaped churches, the Art Deco buildings and the sharp cold weather.
